This means, that conducting a quick, easy and accurate survey of production, inventory and related batches is an unrealizable requirement.

In order to eliminate the management of confusing quantities of bills of materials and production orders, Navertica Steel Processing Vertical Solution uses an allocation structure, as its basic cornerstone.

In the allocation module only one card represents material with a second card representing a final product. All works in progress are represented by modified batches of the same material, meaning weight changes, sizes, material specifications and other user defined parameters. Based on the allocations structure, the system creates cutting plans containing routings and final products. The allocation is not a plan, but a representation of the particular production requirement for a unique batch consisting.
